As a prospective borrower, you have a lot on your plate. There are a lot of documents and red tape involved in getting the perfect mortgage loan that works for you. And you want a good rate, but you also want great customer service. How do I know this? Ally Bank conducted a survey telling us you’re also looking for great customer service. The survey can be found here:

Ally’s 2017 Home Loan Study Shows Borrowers Focused on the Economics of a Mortgage, With Service and Convenience a Close Follower

Two key points from this report are;

Some mortgage lenders are doing a bad job – only 37 percent of home-buyers were satisfied with the mortgage application process.

You care about service – 93 percent said a reputation for, “…excellent customer service and convenience would be very/somewhat important in their decision on which lender to choose.”

Now this is important. Your mortgage is one of the biggest financial decisions you are likely to make. There is a lot going on, and you need to feel like there is someone on your side who is fighting for you. This is why you should consider a mortgage broker. Someone who can get you the best mortgage with a pool of trusted and reliable lenders. Your broker will do everything they can to get you into the home of your dreams. Hiring the right broker is the first step.

Look for someone who has experience and has been in business for more than ten years. A big bonus is to have that broker be local to the area. This is especially important in hot markets like Denver and Stapleton in Colorado. And if you want great customer service, then look for it.
